Trial Lesson
Tempo Tutoring School of Music offers each new student the opportunity to do a half-price 30-minute trial lesson.
Trial lessons are only $20 per student. Book your lesson below!

Trial lessons provide students and parents with the opportunity to meet their teacher and also become familiar with the school before making a commitment to long-term lessons.
This is also a chance to determine student-teacher compatibility and the skill level of the student if they have had prior musical experience.
Trial lessons are also a great option to test the waters if you are unsure whether your child is old enough to start lessons.
Each trial lesson will be different depending on the student, but will generally have the following structure:
Introductions (~5 minutes): The teacher will ask about the student’s previous musical experience and whether they have a goal for lessons.
Lesson (~15 minutes): Beginner students will be introduced to the basics of piano, while experienced students can demonstrate what they know. During this time the teacher will assess strengths and weaknesses.
Wrap-up (~10 minutes): The student and teacher will develop an action plan for future lessons that will address the student’s goals, strengths, and weaknesses. The lesson is concluded with a discussion on further enrolment.

Booking below allows you to pay by credit/debit card. You will also receive a booking confirmation email, as well as a reminder email approximately 2 hours before your lesson.
